What's the play

When your out of home campaign wraps, don't send them to the dump. Cut it up into merch. PostHog turned the billboard vinyl that covered San Francisco into a sick merch drop of duffel bags, so every bag carries a random chunk of the campaign.

What was the alternative?

Throwing the vinyl away and ordering a fresh batch of generic tote bags.

Results / what moved

PostHog stretched its vinyl across San Francisco billboards and bus stops for a few weeks, then upcycled the retired material into duffel bags sold on its merch store. Every bag is unique, cut from a different part of the print. One lucky person is gonna get a James Hawkins face bag
